Our Story

For those that are not familiar with my AWESOME family, let me give you a quick update.

I met Nathan, we couldn't stand each other, then fell in love. We had our first kiss on Feb 4, 2007 (hey, don't judge..it obviously rocked my socks). We moved in together very fast. We got two dogs, and got engaged. Nathan and I married on May 15, 2009, on the beach in Navarre, Fl. We miss the beach sooo much BTW.

We found out we were pregnant in Aug 2009 (HoneyMoon Baby!!!).

Grady was born on May 5, 2010 (Cinco de Mayo Baby!!!).

We got orders to Tucson, Arizona that Fall..

When Grady was 9 months old, we decided to start "trying" again for another baby. Grady was an AMAZING baby, so why not, right??? WRONG.
I announced my pregnancy to Nathan (with Grady wearing a Big Bro shirt) May 3rd, 2011. We were ecstatic. Then, Grady decided to become the insane child. Bless his heart.

I delivered Parker on Jan. 1, 2012 (The FIRST Tucson Baby for 2012!!!!) Yes, we were on two news channels...and yes, I looked Fabulous with my hair and makeup done (by yours truly).

Oh, I forgot to mention where Brown Rice comes from. My maiden name is Brown, and Nathan's last name is Rice. On our first date, we started talking about how great our Wedding will be. "The Brown Rice Wedding'. Yes, we had signs pointing to the beach spot where we were getting married. =)

We LOVE our life. Our crazy, fun, and busy life.

RICE BABY #3!!!

We are proud to announce, that Grady and Parker are going to be Big Brothers! As of now, we are due Nov 5, 2013. We have announced this very early, but we are too excited to hold back the news.

I got the idea for the announcement, from Pinterest. I purchased two wooden craft frames from Michaels ($8.99 a piece), and chalk board paint ($7.99).  Please look for coupons from MIchaels or any other craft store. I had a 50% off an item from Michaels, so I was pleased with my purchases!! I already had craft paint at home, but I noticed that Acrylics work best for this project. Side Walk chalk that the boys play with came in handy =)

As you can see, Parker (14 months) wasn't too thrilled in this picture. He was having an 'off day", but we thought this picture was perfect!!! It looks like he isn't too thrilled to not be the baby anymore!!!

I am looking forward to Blogging about this pregnancy. I know it's a hard road ahead, since I am already severely nauseated and taking care of two kids under 3. I will be trying new activities for the boys, crockpot meals, freezer meals, pregnancy exercises, home remedies for sickness, and of course....fun photography sessions with a great friend of mine!! =)

UPDATE:

At 19 weeks, we found out.....

IT'S A BOY!!!!

As you can see, Parker is STILL not happy about being the middle child
